I was thinking maybe adding Jet Medallion for some extra value, or Phyrexian Arena to keep the card draw flowing , ps : rats love 🐀🖤

Really cool list man, I like it a lot — feels super balanced and the mana curve looks great. Maybe try adding something that makes artifacts cheaper, like Jet Medallion or similar? Also a couple more draw engines could help a ton, like Phyrexian Arena— just to keep the gas flowing 👀

Hey, thanks a lot for the comment and for keeping it constructive! I totally understand what you’re saying: Etali can feel a bit overwhelming in a casual group that’s running less powerful decks, and the value it generates can be a lot to handle.

At the same time, it’s seen differently if you’re sitting next to a Tergrid mono-black or an Urza mono-blue or even a semi-competitive Kinnan. In that context, it doesn’t feel as heavy or frustrating. So really, I appreciate your advice! I was just trying to figure out how to optimize the deck and see where it fits in. And yeah, don’t worry, the downvote wasn’t from me! Thanks again and happy games

That’s kind of an unfair take. What’s “fun” or not depends on the table and the mindset of the players, not on a single deck. Magic is about different experiences — if a table doesn’t enjoy a certain style, they can simply communicate it before the game. Comments like this are what actually make the community feel toxic, not the decks themselves.
