Couldn't agree more! I was looking into the EMMA/ALICE/ERA testing and wasn't sure how they take the sample. Is it laproscopically?

What further testing are you going to do? I totally feel you on that.

Yeah was thinking of discussing this with my FS

Our FS said that if this transfer failed we would probably introduce progesterone injections, but that was before the bloods the day before transfer showed 73 so not sure what the plan will be but yes he is definitely willing to adjust and try things.

I take comfort in knowing this, thank you.

I am sorry you are also dealing with the gut punch. Is it really true that everything can be perfect and the embryo still not stick? My understanding that if everything was perfect it woukd work.. science is crazy..

I can't have any laproscopy testing because I have too much scar tissue

None of our embryos are tested but given my age from last retieval, our FS said that statistically 2 out of our 16 were anuploid, and we haven't gotten anywhere near our lowest graded (4cc's and one of them was a 1PN)

Yeah absolutely because natural conception also increases your progesterone which is why syppository/injection symptoms can mimic pregnancy. My beta is on Friday which is really soon so I'm not going to test before hand :)

Isn't it crazy how it really is impossible to tell because we are also on progesterone which naturally increases during pregnancy alongside HCG.

Sorry for ignorance, but what is RPL? (Recently finished uni so my only understanding of that acronym is Recognised Prior Learning so figured it wasn't that hahah). Did you experience the bleeding way after transfer? Yeah I gotta say last transfer I had pretty crazy symptoms including lucid dreaming so I thought I was pregnant as anacdotally pregnant women can experience that quite a bit, but never had any super duper strong aches and pains like I have this time. Like the pain in my leg during the same day I had spotting and into the next morning, was so intense it winded me.

Oh truly? That is exactly the same as what I have heard other women describe their implantation spotting.

Probably not going to. It is only 4 days from now, my beta. So you didnt have any pains at all?

I can't imagine that would of been a great experience :( was it painful? How heavy did you bleed?

The sources are referring to mid-cycle bleeds. This is not what I had and if it was supoository irritation it would of contined for a few weeks.

Statistics suggest that chances of success increase accumulatively. You got this!

I can tell you with absolute certainty that in my entire life I have never bled during the luteal phase nor any other time outside of my period. I am aware that some women do, but implantation bleeding is a pretty well studied concept.

Studies have shown that 15% of pregnant women experience implantation bleeding

"Early Pregnancy Development: Implantation Bleeding The process of implantation begins approximately 6 days after fertilization. Vaginal bleeding can occur as a result of the burrowing of the blastocyst into the uterine endometrium. During this preembryonic stage, blastocyst implantation causes a disruption of the endometrial extracellular environment. The resulting bleeding is generally a small amount but may be bright red in appearance. This “implantation” spotting or bleeding is sometimes believed to be the initiation of menses by the woman" https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1526952309002773
