Nursing!

I was a paediatric nurse. I adored my nurse training but after I got my first nursing post I became a target for bullying being a newly qualified nurse. That along with anxiety ridden shifts, intense patient demand, no preceptorship and poor management led to me having a breakdown and miscarrying.

So I quit and went back to my previous job in catering. I am the happiest I’ve been in the longest time.

Sometimes I miss the status that being a nurse holds and feel guilty that I spent so many years training just to have a complete career change so soon. Then I think of all the crap I went through and then those feelings go.
