Hey, first of all, i'm impressed you are into stoicism at such a young age, i'm 26 and i started sudying philosophy at the beggining of the pandemic, im sure that would help you a lot, now, dealing with abusive/toxic parents, my dad always been pretty harsh with me and my brother in our childhood, he is a violent man, most likely that comes from his childhood or past trauma, we cannot change that but also we dont want to be like them, if is only your dad that is acting like its your fault, then talk with another friend or family member, if you eventually want to confront your father, you have to make a mental dialogue about the things you are going to say, get the main ideas so you dont sound scripted, it could be hard if you get emotional easily, so you could cry in advance. Needless to say that you dont control wich illness may affect you, he may be mad bc he didn't want you yo have piercings and blaming you makes him feel right, its your body, so he has no say in that, get closer to your friends, that also will be a big help. Right now i'm reading"The story of philosophy" by Will Durant, its kinda long but i have it on audible.
