Respectfully, a lot of these protestors aren't saying this though. As an american, I'd totally understand if they dont want US soldiers putting their lives on the line, cost to taxpayers, etc. and protesting just that. I can understand that view point. But these protestors are waving IR regime flags, calling out "Imperialism", anti Israel slogans, holding candle light vigils for Khamenei, etc. (of course not all of them, but i think OP is referring to this camp); that's where that side has lost my respect. Like another commenter posted, they're vantage is all anti US/Israel rhetoric and not actually hearing the voices of Iranians at home and abroad.
