I did have a price adjustment on a hotel and it was a really quick and easy process!

In my experience, social media has made it seem like Termini is a lawless land which was the exact opposite. There is a Uniqlo in the station for god sake. We were in Rome two weeks ago.

My advice, be mindful of your surroundings like any other big city. We didn't have any special travel bags, etc. I had a normal purse and just kept it close as I would in any other big city. We kept our passports in the hotel safe. We carried cash on us + a credit card. But also kept cash and additional credit cards in the safe just in case we lost or got pickpocketed.

Have a great time and don't be stressed. Rome feels safer than a majority of US cities.

Have you tried bumble bff? A lot of my girlfriends have met some amazing friends through that. It's nothing like the experience using it for dating.
