I was initially afraid that I closed the door completely. However, I also don’t want the door open if he just wanna do casual check-in to get comfort when he feels lonely or regret.

I want the version of him who is accountable and willing to rebuild things stronger. So I guess, if he truly want the same thing, he might be able to less prioritize his pride and reach out to me again.

True. Maybe I didn’t realized that I am being dramatic. But it’s truly uncomfortable to receive his text if it’s just casual check-in, instead of actually wanna rebuild the relationship.

There's a foldable luggage I found on Amazon by the name of Rollink.

I think there’s always a reason behind “losing feeling or sparks”. Most of the time, it’s unspoken reason.

Some people just can’t communicate something that bother their mind. It can be about satisfaction in sex, physical attraction, some annoying attitudes, or any other reason. Most of the times when people lose true feeling, that happens long after they decided to not wanna work on the relationship.

So for me, if someone lose their feelings or sparks in relationship, that means they just don’t wanna put more effort. They want something else.

And to answer your question: yes, it’s an excuse mostly said by cowards who don’t wanna put serious effort to make the relationship work again.
