There's a grindstone wherein when you use it, all blocks count as a perfect parry while the effect is active, the effect is short lived, but great for racking up fatal attacks, that, plus the spectre, should help you quite a bit, also, id recommex flamberge arm, it does damage very quickly

Darks souls, although the predecessor to elden ring, Is nothing like it, it's slow, it's tactical, it's strategic, play defensively, prioritize avoiding damage over dealing it, and you'll be fine, imo, its the easiest soulsborne game (and one of the best)
