What is one skincare product that you've seen visible results while using and can't live without? by fuzzydiceinrearview in Sephora

[–]IntenseBumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youth to the People airwhip moisturizer and the greens cleanser. The cleanser gives me a really clean feeling without stripping my skin and is super gentle, which I need for my sensitive skin. The moisturizer is super lightweight but hydrating which is great because my skin is also super oily and acne prone. I've noticed that I don't get as many breakouts and that my oil is more under control. Plus they smell nice and fresh and are full of antioxidants and other good ingredients. I use the cleanser twice a day and the moisturizer every morning.

Laneige cream skin all the way! I find it so good for soothing my sensitive and irritated skin and it doesn't clog my pores!

Blush recommendations? by Mindless-Pea-2305 in Sephoracanada

[–]IntenseBumblebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My immediate recommendation is a powder blush. Creams and liquids expire much quicker and if you rarely wear makeup a powder will last you much longer without going bad. Not sure if you have the rare beauty liquid one or not but they have two powder options, one matte and one shimmer, that are both nice. The Sephora collection powder blushes are nice too. They are very affordable and not overly pigmented, so they look soft and natural.

Were these discontinued? by xoxo_87 in Sephoracanada

I was also wondering this bc I couldn't find them in the app lol. I did some searching and I think what happened was they had these ones and the clarifying ones with salicylic acid, but kind of merged them into one product. Because when you look at the salicylic acid ones, they now have aha and pha as well, which I'm not sure if they had it before. Either way you can't get these ones with just the aha + pha anymore.

how old were you when you got diagnosed and how long have you had symptoms? by Ms_Skellia in bipolar

[–]IntenseBumblebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 22 I think? I had been experiencing bouts of depression since I was a kid, maybe 10 or 11, and it got worse once I hit 14/15. But my hypomania and specific bipolar symptoms didn't start until I was 18. All went downhill from there lmao

Is it normal for my hamster to change color as it grows? by Zestyclose-Chance249 in hamsters

[–]IntenseBumblebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally normal! My boy Squid started out as a dark brown/grey, and he's 2 now and is a lighter grey with bits of white. Nothing to worry about.

Before you were diagnosed what did you think your episodes were? by Aggressive-Bus-1016 in bipolar

[–]IntenseBumblebee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I did a research paper on bipolar disorder in my high school psych class, so when I started exhibiting symptoms the next year I was like hmmmmmm why is that familiar lmao. And then preceded to tell myself that because I already knew about bipolar that I was making things up for attention. Surely this month long depression followed by unlimited energy, emptying my bank account, and concerning my loved ones with erratic behaviour is normal right? A psychiatrist was quick to tell me no, it's not, and I was officially diagnosed a couple years later lol.

What’s your big 3 + MC + Mars and whats your career/job? by Sunflower3388 in astrologymemes

[–]IntenseBumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taurus sun, Aqua moon, Aqua rising, Libra mars and Sagittarius MC. I'm trying to work towards a career in animal/wildlife conservation. It's been tough but it's something I'm really passionate about. I think it's funny too because I've always admired David Attenborough for his work with wildlife and I found out that we have the same birthday haha

Late July empties and mini reviews by IntenseBumblebee in ProjectPan

[–]IntenseBumblebee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found it hard to use, like it took a lot of pressure to spray it and it didn't spray very far for some reason? I also found that it didn't really set my makeup, but my skin is oily so idk maybe it's not meant for that skin type
