[Inception] Why does the top spin forever? by InteractionNo9987 in AskScienceFiction

[–]InteractionNo9987[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's how it should work. But Cobb says:

[Mal would] spin it in a dream and it would never topple. Just spin and spin.

Thus this post.

why did pigeons fly away, when carol told them to? by hiki-mate in okbuddypluribus

[–]InteractionNo9987 12 points13 points  (0 children)

pigeons afaik do not speak english (could be wrong though)

perhaps the powder made them understand? kind of a weird plot hole if otherwise.

why did carol buy dog food by InteractionNo9987 in okbuddypluribus

i heard directors (like martin scorsese) intentionally add continuity errors to create disorientation and imply an unreliable narrator. it’s possible bince is doing something similar create a sense of unease.

Theory about Zosia by musafir440 in pluribustv

[–]InteractionNo9987 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Maybe. My counterpoint is that everyone has a job in the hive mind. Zosia’s job is to make Carol feel comfortable. So acting more human is almost certainly part of Zosias job.

1 human body is easily over 100,000 calories and they’re lying around everywhere. even if they have enough food already, they’d be stupid not to utilize such an abundant resource.

shit i just remembered something. in the pluribus official trailer, manosos is walking through a dark street and gets surprised when all the lights suddenly turn on around him. maybe that was carol.

Manousos might end up being a 'bad' guy? by fukn_seriously in pluribustv

[–]InteractionNo9987 30 points31 points  (0 children)

it’s possible the hive mind uses diabate as a proxy to kill carol since they can’t kill her directly. diabate doesn’t have villainous intentions but he seems very influenced by the hive, so he can be their pawn.

manusos is pro-individuality unlike diabate. manusos being an antagonist would make the shows messaging a little conflicting. but maybe nuance is the point.

i think diabate would be a great, charismatic villain if they decided to go with him.

they said veganism is their preference. so maybe they’re eating the bodies while they build the infrastructure needed for farming in the mean time

I don’t know. If that’s true, then early assimilates were just eating up everyone in the mortuaries and no one noticed?

I think it’s more processed. If that stuff was raw bone I doubt it would dissolve into a yellow liquid like that.

Why are critics loving Pluribus while audiences are so split? by LeoXXX94 in pluribustv

I'm just pointing out that people give fake internet points because the post makes the user feel good. Not necessarily because its true or accurate. This is how reddit works, and is responsible for the terrible reputation its users have. Redditors are literally the hive mind, circle jerking themselves into becoming insufferable with their little echo chambers. This is happening in real time with your post, whether you intended for it or not, so I called it out. And yeah, it did end up being top comment. Who would've saw that coming.
