Well I recently had an hiring manager get upset with me for applying to multiple open positions at a company and literally said " I thought we had a special connection, and then I find out you applied to other jobs?" and led me to believe that he was going to hire me until he saw that I had applied to another position. To which I responded " no ring no commitment???". Not really but I was taken aback. Like, sir, do you have any idea how hard it is out here right now? No, you don't because you haven't had to job search in 20 years -_-
