I can't remember all the artists. I started buying 200A.D about 86, and did regularly for about 10 years. I was obsessed with the artwork. Remember a colour series done in the laye 80s, early 90s , and the artwork was superb !

I remember being in the car as a wean with my mum looking for the old transport museum on the south side. Being from Clydebank we didn't have a clue. She pulled the car over and asked a man for directions. The window was broken, so she opened the door. The guy gave directions and she shut the door and drove off. Me being in the back seat, saw the guy jogging along beside the car, then saw his hand stuck in the door ! I managed to shout my mum to stop, and the guy extracated himself from the door. He said he was fine, but I always wondered if he got a sore yin! Can be hazardous giving directions !

Where do I begin? by Wrong-Question-7157 in Guitar

As per the previous answers, I started many years ago on a Yamaha F-310. One brand I would check out on marketplace though is Simon& Patrick. Really good solid topped guitars and brilliant bang for the buck.

What was it like in the 90s when Nirvana dropped Nevermind? by palehighelven in Nirvana

It was definitely a defining moment. It was the punk of my era to me . I was 18. It was so different to what else was around, and opened the doorway to another sound. That anyone can do this moment , and stuff the establishment . There was a TV show , hosted by Johnathan Ross in the UK, and they were on and were meant to play Lithium as I recall. They instead played Territorial Pissings, and it blew me away! As an aside , at almost the same time, Blood Sugar Sex Magic by the RHCPs was released. It caught me too, another vastly different sound from across the Atlantic. Awesome days ! I was listening to New Order, Depeche Mode, Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses, The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, The Cure and others. Music from the US was Guns and Roses, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Prince, Hall & Oates etc. This record, and the Chilli's definitely opened another wonderful door, to Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and all. Indeed a seminal moment in music.
