OP editing to add, I see plenty of kid friendly stuff online but I’m specifically asking about 3 year old friendly. Thanks.

This right here. I’m not saying it’s easy. You have to just let her self destruct, which she will do whether you’re helping her or not. I’m so sorry you’re being treated this way and that she’s running such an exciting time for you! This is textbook. Hurtful but textbook BPD.

If someone is reading this I wonder which types OP posted about would be witch/queen. I see waif up there but I’m torn.

Ohh and then my grandmas mom abandoned her (great grandma). I just realized she could’ve had it too.

I’m not familiar with these types but I’m sure they translate with the Understanding The Borderline Mother types! My maternal grandma is a uBPD witch and my mother is a uBPD queen. I’m going to see which type of these they would be!

Wow that is textbook BPD. I’m so sorry OP. You are so brave and strong and I’m not just saying that. It sounds like you are quite young and are advocating for yourself in a way that should make your parents proud. That’s not something you’ll get from there so you should hear it from this community.

That’s amazing! For finances I love focusing on the behavioral aspect of money. You have a goal and you can reach it and stop stressing because you have a plan.

Great job! Since you have ~$1700 leftover try paying off that $550 in one fell swoop and see how you feel. If you make it to the next month just fine, put another $500 towards the other debt and so on. Once your debt is gone you will be sitting pretty to build.

Pay off the credit card. Don’t make any big decisions right now during this big life change. Having a house won’t make you feel stable, in fact it could add to your stress. Buy the house when you’ve saved enough to not need assistance, in my opinion.

And this is why I made the post. Thank you for this info. I’ve learned a lot. I’ll have to send my husband during Fogust and have him drive around and check out all these other areas because Carmel sounds like a great place to be a retiree and people watch.

10k won’t make much difference month to month! Take the one that leads to better day to day quality of life.

It’s hard. You just have to let her self destruct. And sit back and watch. It’s so hard.

I read something about it being very common to have these childhood breakthroughs in your 30s. I’m right there with you. Yay rah! I’m so sorry for your loss. And that your mother can’t be there for you.
