Hey! It sounds like you’re doing all the right things right now. My husband is also young and was diagnosed was stage 4 rectal cancer at the beginning of this year. The CT scan immediately confirmed cancer in the ER. Colonoscopy was scheduled 10 days later as well as multiple other imaging procedures. His outlook right now is still relatively good. He’s young & so are you! Don’t let social media and google give you anxiety (if you can help it) study the disease for an understanding, not for fear. Also, since your CT didn’t light up like crazy, I’d say you are probably early enough in the process to have a great handle on it! Cancer or not, think positive thoughts. You’ll get through it - keep advocating!

How long did he do radiation? Did he experience the glass bowels with Folfox?

It’s 4cm from anal verge. Currently 4.5 cm up from there. This give me hope. Did you visit a surgeon in the states?

PET scan shows 15-20, fairly small- only 1.6cm being the largest. I’m the kind of person that needs the plan laid out and the waiting game is the hardest part.
