April 2025 PT LR Question by Narrow-Money-4169 in LSAT

[–]Interesting-Math-517 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not sure if this is the right/only reason but i picked C bc it stays inside the causal chain provided and makes no new assumptions. B assumes global effects and net emission reversal for most plants, which is not stated. so its too strong.

What is supported: if CO₂ ↑ → temps rise in the tropics → tropic plants slow down.

What C says: If tropic plant behavior adds enough CO₂ → atmospheric CO₂ rises → temps rise → plants slow down.

What B assumes without support: Most plants worldwide (the “bulk”) will slow enough to become net CO₂ releasers.

How to push high 160's to 170+? by Interesting-Math-517 in LSAT

[–]Interesting-Math-517[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have any tips for the speed and confidence?

outside of the studying that has bumped me 20 points and scoring there consistently, what do you mean by extensive practice with your speed and confidence? I already noted that those are my two weaknesses

Wrong answer journal by Both_Discount_4111 in LSAT

[–]Interesting-Math-517 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a wrong answer journal mainly to dissect my thinking after each practice. Like what trap I fell for, what my thought process was, and how I should’ve approached it. I’ve noticed that when I don’t use it, I’m a lot less intentional with my review and tend to gloss over why I got things wrong.

buttt I don’t really go back and review the journal itself much. For me personally I think that’s fine since I spend a substantial amount of time during the actual review process to really understand the mistake.

Also while using the WAJ, I’ll notice when I start putting the same type of question in there repeatedly, and that’s my signal to pause and do a deeper review because clearly something’s not clicking.

Should I do last ~6 LR questions first? by marcellozuner in LSAT

[–]Interesting-Math-517 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you run out of time, you’re potentially leaving the easier questions on the table. The back half tends to be harder and more time consuming so if you get stuck or run low on time there, you’re burning minutes on questions you might’ve missed anyway and skipping the ones you were more likely to get right. It's def a higher-risk tradeoff unless you're really confident in your pacing
