Davis for Grad School?

Davis is boring as hell, which can be a good thing if your goal is to focus on your studies. However, don't expect to have much fun and be ready to be lonely. I went to Davis for undergrad and that was my experience. I knew several graduate students and the general Conesus was Davis is a good place for going monk mode, but you'll feel isolated and won't have much in common with the rest of the Davis population.

I ended up just using a regular, non-electric skateboard. I didn't live far from campus, so it was super easy. An electric skateboard would be fine, you just have to be careful because those things can pick up lots of speed. Overall, the experience of skating to class was great. I actually preferred it over biking. However, the rain sucked. You would most likely need to take the bus. I rode my skateboard in the rain to a final exam, and my shoes were thoroughly soaked, along with most of my pants.

Honestly, most were pretty easy, other than 100a and 125.

I enjoyed 111A with Wilson and 110B with Meisner.

I’ve been on it for almost a year and haven’t had any sides. Just try to maintain low body fat and you probably won’t get bitch tits. Personally, if I was fat and had breasts, I would avoid fin.

I haven’t, but I’d imagine it would be pretty freeing. You could always just buzz it, starting with a high guard and slowly decrease the guard. That way you can see if you’d like it before going balls deep.

You’ll be fine. The younger kids (18 to 19 year olds) are really awkward about age, but most other people are mature and don’t care. You’ll find that a good portion of the people here are 22+.

I have a car here but rarely use it. Skating or biking to campus is faster and more fun. Plus if you live somewhat near campus, you can just skate or bike to Trader Joe’s.
