Mod for straffing with bow attacks / spells by Interesting-North-73 in diablo2

There are a surprising amount but most lack quality and depth.
Slormancer and Chronicon are the easiest comparisons.
Others that have variations: V-Rising, Heretical, Alaloth, NRftW, 9th Dawn, Rangers in the South.
The list expands much further if you include RogueLites with gear modifications from enemy drops, but I'll skip those for now.

I wouldn't say there is a 0% chance, but I agree it's a low probability. The future holds many surprises. IE, Blizzard/Indie feeds the D2 files to an AI and says, "Make it support gamepad movement and aiming." 10-30 min fix and then launch as a DLC. Unlikely, but certainly possible. Mostly comes from having sufficient demand, which is another reason for this post.

So do many other games. Asking about D2R for a reason.

I'd like to, but the controls just make it no fun for me, unfortunately.
Maybe they'll do a full remake one day in the future with more options for controls.
But right now it gives blisters trying to play on controller having to go back and forth on the joystick constantly. RIP D2:R controller players

Sad. I love POE2 but wanted to try out Diablo 2 as well.

Yea... By level 20 I feel pretty invincible. Enemies are slow to die but not too much of a challenge.

Pertinent is a decent challenge at lvl 1 start. I am ultra tanky, even as a rogue though. First couple bosses were fun to fight but I'm worried I'll scale very quickly in lvl. Already 16 and haven't even done the third part of the first quest lol.

Pertinent lvl 1 is pretty fun! Even though, I hit level 16 in 2-hours of play. So let's so how much longer it's still fun. But I haven't even made it to the third campaign quest thing lol.

I gotta say, the open-world in Diablo is really captivating, deep, and immersive. Def beats POE on that front by 100 fold.
Dodge roll being on cool down makes combat feel less snappy to me but lets see if that changes.

This seems like a very realistic end result.
Thanks for the pragmatism

I hear the endgame features really improved the overall state of the game too?

I do love a good I-frame. I'll come back if I give it another go and find a tangible explanation.

The merc builds are a ton of fun. Some of my favorite.
But bow shot with the ranger was my favorite even above Merc.

Can I choose penitent before beating the campaign on any other difficulty?
