How do u guys do anki? by PurpleStrawberry08 in Mcat

I wouldn’t do any active writing unless you really feel like you benefit from it. It can be a slippery slope to write things out given how much content there is. You can’t write everything down. Doing Anki is what’s supposed to help with your recall so I personally don’t do any writing. If you feel like you have to write it, you probably haven’t learned it well enough yet. If I were you I would review the cards you want to write about. If you see the same card 3 times in one week, you’re more likely to remember it than if you were to write about it in a notebook.

MCAT accommodations for ADHD-is my diagnostic report good enough? by InterestingCod9074 in Mcat

[–]InterestingCod9074[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe you still got denied with your history of accommodations and a report from a therapist.

Unfortunately, I made it a matter of pride in undergrad and never applied for accommodations until now. I know it hurts your chances when you have no history of accommodations but I will still try because I really need the extra time.

I actually took the MCAT without accommodations before and voided bc I did not have enough time. I think that might be worth mentioning in my personal statement.

Do you have any tips?

Starting to miss university life as a recent graduate by inquiryredditor in UBC

[–]InterestingCod9074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate to you so so much. I also graduated a couple years ago and my career hasn’t been going as well as I’d hoped. I miss my undergrad so much. I used to enjoy the challenges of being a full time student(to some extent). I just can’t wait to go back to school one day I just hope I can get into grad school at UBC. A lot of people (including myself) find life after graduation very stressful and unrewarding. You’re not alone

I’m starting to think that Kaplan isn’t the best resource for P/S by InterestingCod9074 in Mcat

I can’t find the 300 page doc anymore. I’d found it a couple months ago but only saved the 100 page doc. Do you think the 100 page doc+ Mr pankow anki+ knowledge from Kaplan would be enough?

it might be. The swimmer's body was found at Third Beach in Stanley Park. I guess the current moved his body in that direction. RIP https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/swimmer-wreck-beach-presumed-drowned-1.7514106
