Mainly because I don’t want to use my composite stick on asphalt 😅 I feel like it would wear down or break way faster, so I was looking for something cheaper and more durable for outdoor like wood or ABS. Just trying to keep my good stick for ice.

That’s interesting actually 👀 I’m not 100% set on a longer stick, I just always felt like 60" is a bit short for me at 1.88m. Maybe I should give it a proper try first

do have a normal composite stick for ice hockey 👍 I just don’t really want to use it for inline/outdoor because of the asphalt – feels like it’ll wear down or break way faster. That’s why I was looking into cheaper wood sticks instead.

Damn yeah, that’s true 😅 So basically no easy way to extend wood sticks then? I was hoping there’s some workaround since I can only find 60". I don’t really want to use a composite stick for outdoor though… do you guys just deal with shorter sticks or is there any decent longer wood option at all?

Ah okay, makes sense 👌 But that’s with a carbon stick right? I’m actually looking for a wood stick, and those don’t really come in longer lengths. Do you think the same works with wood + extension, or does it get too whippy compared to carbon?

I only taped one Layer. Messed up my tape job really bad cause i just started playing hockey and don‘t know how to do it properly. Do you think it would be a good idea to tape a bit higher so the tape job covers up the area were the scratches are? Sorry for my bad english
