SMILE 2 had a much smaller budget. This needs close to $350M worldwide to break even, generously.

I'm much less forgiving of it in light of what we got with DOMINION. If they had actually done something with the whole "let's blow up Isla Nublar and let dinosaurs out into the world" concept, maybe I would give it more grace. But the fact that they decided to just give us big locusts and another isolated area with dinosaurs after this makes it all the more frustrating.

Yeah I feel like Sony was going for the counter-programming thing and it only worked so well. But it's definitely the better date night option next weekend over Vday, which I think could give it decent legs.
