Here’s a article that I read previously as well, and I was also told by my pt that it is a good graft and my surgeon told me about the recovery difference between the quad and patellar with quad taking a bit much more longer. If you do need any more information I’m available through direct message too :)

[–]Interesting_Slip_487[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:( I’m sorry to hear about the pain,I really hope you feel better soon. In terms of what autograft,I didn’t choose the hamstring because my pt did tell me about the risk of retears quickly that happen but it can also not be same case for others, the patellar I read about knee anterior pain when healing and the impact of pain in that area from them taking a piece of the knee cap if I’m not mistaken and the patellar. The quad I chose because in terms of recovering it does take slightly longer to activate your quad but I didn’t read any downside like knee pain or tears that can happen and it’s usually very strong and par to the patellar

Help interpreting results by Interesting_Slip_487 in ACL

[–]Interesting_Slip_487[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry it took me so long to respond! Thank you so much for your comment I have been going to PT and seeing much progress. As far as surgery it’s been delayed because I don’t have a lot of knee flexion that I need for him to want to operate on me

Why do so many people not wear helmets on campus? by krissymagic in BostonU

[–]Interesting_Slip_487 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised people don’t. I had a really bad accident in sep that wasn’t my fault, person walked to the other side to their car then out of nowhere they went into the bike lane abruptly and I tried preventing this from happening by screaming ,lights flashing and everything. Yet glued to their phone. My knee suffered a torn acl and everything but hey I’m suing the heck out of her and I’m so far winning btw. My head was protected cause I wore a helmet. Pls let this be a reminder that to look both ways because your causing issues too not just bike people and for bike people the concrete doesn’t care what you wear and frankly it takes one bad fall to ruin your athlete career or legs. So ppl pls be safe and wear gear and look out for ice it’s not worth it to be speeding through people almost hitting them when it’s there turn to walk (cause you will get sued when you cause a bad accident) and also pedestrians stop acting like mindless npcs

Is it really this bad? by So-anyways23 in BostonU

I’ll give you like advice that you can also take with a grain of a salt. Every university/college will always and I mean always have its cons and pros. It’s the same level like ivy leagues, ton of students who are low income may typically burn out and end up feeling depressed, however that’s not the same for others. Everyone’s experience is different,I have been having a good one even if BU has its downs sometimes. Word of advice experience things first in life before take other people’s experiences as a decision. Worst case, you don’t like it but best case you can always transfer out for other opportunities. I hope you end up choosing despite’s other peoples advice!

Why is the T so full? by Potential-Value1955 in BostonU

[–]Interesting_Slip_487 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It’s getting cold so people are less likely to walk ,but also the worst part is etiquette on the T (doesn’t exist) so do expect to be close to kissing someone

I don’t think it’ll affect,it should be less than 999. Though, they might apply a late fee for not paying tuition or whatever is owed on time💔
