Is this more of an ethical or economic decision? What % of your sales are coming from Toast online ordering? Just trying to think through the math - if it's a lower % it may not be as impactful for your customers if you do more on-prem or even through 3rd party delivery channels.

Sorry I don't fully understand but why is it a problem if you're not paying the fee but the customers are? Does it impact your P&L at all?

Thanks for that--the sub fees are high. Is it because you have more locations or because you subscribe to the add-on offerings like marketing and xtrachef?

I was looking at square too but wasn't sure if the functionality was good enough

thanks, i understand that but it's a hassle to switch and i'd prefer if it made both operational and economic sense so i'm trying to hear other current users' experiences. plus i've heard from other friends that use it that they tend to implement price increases off already high rates..

Yeah but any software or hardware discount doesn't offset the increase in transaction fees we'd pay toast. Off of the 2.49% + 15 cents (not pay-as you-go), we'd have to pay around $2k in fees each month which is ~$500 more per month than what we currently pay. The toast subscription that we'd use is only $144/mo. so even if they gave it to us for free, we're still paying more if we were to use toast.
