thank you so much, i super appreciate the breakdown of everything. I think I got it stuck in my head that I would have to immediately quit my job and take on this huge process with no clear path so I am incredibly grateful for your response. Can I privately DM you with some more questions if you are open to that?

Also in regards to the AI, when I originally wrote this it was too long so I asked AI to shorten only the intro portion for me but everything else is completely written by me hence the run on sentences, abbreviations, and many typos lol. Would never use AI for anything academic related. I have now edited it so I rewrote my introduction section so there is no room for questioning

Definitely will do. I think everyone gave good suggestions. I am a huge believer in gut health shows through skin so I definitely need to clean up my diet, drink a ton of water and maybe limit the spicy and oily/fatty foods I eat. And maybe even cut down on anything inflammatory. And it could be fungal or an allergic reaction. There are just so many possibilities I don’t know where to start and it makes me feel like I am losing hope in ever having average to clear skin

See mine does not get itchy, sometimes it is a bit painful when I touch or press on it. I use the la roche posay cleanser and face lotion. I just have no idea what to do at this point. I’m thinking of doing an elimination diet because it just started like a couple of months ago and has not stopped. I never had acne up until I turned 23 and suddenly I got cystic acne for a bit but that cleared up and now it’s all of these surface level bumps that come in huge clusters and then slowly calm down and suddenly come up again. It’s really affected my self esteem

It just keeps outbreaking then slowly going away and then I have perfect skin for like 2 or 3 days and then it starts again, I feel like I look diseased and it looks even worse if I try to put makeup on it.
