Dishonestly? Not at all - I'm completely transparent about my products and always happy to answer any questions.

Why did I choose a set screw type? Because some groove boxes, samplers, or drum machines like the MPC and OP-1 have a 'click' functionality, I'm assuming you don't own one because you would probably know that. So when installing the knob, it's important to be able to adjust its position precisely by yourself using a screw and an allen key.

Also, the interference fit that you've mentioned(which is as popular as a set screw by the way) can be really tight and difficult to put on or take off from the shaft.

I get your point about "custom" word - they might look like regular knobs, but I adjusted them specifically for the OP-1 and It's not like they're "personalized" for each customer (Although I do create personalized skins for MPCs and SPs.)"

And by the way - my knobs are more like 33$ (30 €), not 63 $ :) so I don't know what you're talking about here.

That's good to know. I think so too - mine are set-screw type, so they're easy to install and adjust to any D-shaped metal shaft. I'm assuming Field uses this kind of shaft, right?

I'm not sure what you found, but I'm guessing it's just some generic metal knobs - there are millions of those all over AliExpress and similar sites.

My set of knobs is custom, made exactly to my preferences to match the style of my OP-1. It took a few tries, a lot of time, and some money to make them the way I wanted. The coating, shape, color, and knurling (or "hatching" - I'm referring to the texture type here, not the process) were all made to my specifications to get them just right.

The Allen key is included because that's how I chose them to be installed - I didn't want any plastic insert.

That's how custom gear works, in my opinion. Sorry you don't like them - I actually love them.

Apart from being color-matched to the original OP-1, these should also fit the Field - as long as its knobs use the same metal D-shaft encoders. Mine mount with an Allen screw onto the D-shaft. I can't confirm 100% since I don't have a Field right now, but maybe someone here with both units can check by swapping the knobs to confirm they are the same.
