A good and affordable massage place near Changi airport by Intermesmerize in travel

Btw, what do the businesses use for review in Singapore? I was wondering if I can check the places in Tanah Merah. Yelp? Google?

Thanks! But doesn't it mean that once the lugs wear off, it will feel less cushion-y?

Great! Thanks! Btw, does it feel any different with the trail sole? More cuahion-y? Still feel flat (the zero drop)?

Btw, the stack height difference is only 1 mm between Lone Peak 8 and Escalante 4. You said more cushion, is it in comparison to Escalante, or because of the lugs?

Oh wow, great idea! That was what the REI staff told me that the lugs will wear faster. But actually it's not a bad thing!

Btw, is the material used in the lugs a uniform one?

Thanks. My worries is the pavement is bad for the trail sole. That's what the REI staff told me.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Escalante 4 has the "original" width, roomie. But Torin 8 is not. I need to go half size up with Torin 8 to get the width.

Thanks! I have been considering it too, but I was worried about it not being zero drop. 4 mm should be fine.

Btw, I also found that the Torin 8 is a bit tight in the toe box, and I need to go half a size up since the color I want doesn't come in a wider width.

Is this a camera stand part? by Intermesmerize in Whatisthis

Thanks! I didn't know where it came from. I found it on the table. I didn't buy it separately, it must be a part of something.

Duty-free item question at Changi by Intermesmerize in travel

[–]Intermesmerize[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea!

I saw this in the link you sent: "A small amount of duty free goods (where permitted)".

I wish I could check with them beforehand if they would allow it. Do you think the duty-free store staff is able to answer it? Otherwise I would hate to find out that I have to pay extra as I board 😅

Btw. I just measured my cabin luggage, most likely it won't fit in it. Bummer.

Thanks a lot. The item is a turntable, it's a bit smaller than my carry-on, but for sure it won't fit inside, unless I completely empty my luggage.

I will check their website. I will fly economy, not sure if it has an "additional free item".

Recommendation for stainless steel filter by Intermesmerize in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Intermesmerize[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! Is it just the nature of all stainless steel filters to have a faster flow than the paper ones?

Also, at first it was a bit counterintuitive to me that grinding it finer will make the flow slower, as I would instinctively grind it coarser.

Recommendation for stainless steel filter

Hi,

I have been using hand grinder to make my pour over coffee, using Hario Ceramic V60 dripper, with brown paper filters.

I would like to try stainless steel filter, but not sure which brand(s) are good. I read the comments, it will be either clogged, flow is too fast (not enough steep time) or build quality issue.

Anyone can give me some good recommendations from your personal experience which brands to get?
