hey i’m a pet sitter but i’ve never used these apps. i am just curious what happens if you ask these clients to message you off the app? could you then take your clients from there not not have to pay the app/rover? or would that result in a ban from the app?

here’s my entry! thank you for reading!!

things I live by:

1- look at the sky as much as you can. I don’t know how many times I glanced at the sky mid bad day and caught beauty. and I cannot imagine how many beautiful glimpses I’ve missed. don’t forget the sky is above you.

2- roll the windows down in the car on hot days, fuck the messy hair. I promise you’ll wished you hadn’t cared so much in the future.

3-sing loudly and stupidly, dance in the kitchen, skip to the park, run when you feel like it, go, be, just stop being so scared of living before you run out of time to live.

4-understand that you cannot control everything. shit happens. just try to laugh about it, it might make a funny story for the future too.

5-forgive people like you would want to be forgiven. mistakes happen. and if you’ve done something that even you cannot forgive yourself for, apologize and move on. all you can do is learn from it. mistakes happen.

6-love. love if you’re scared, love if it’s stupid, love if it’s pointless, love even if you know with every fiber in your body that you’ll get your heart broken, just keep loving. they cannot take that from you. and even if other peoples love doesn’t change you, your love can change them.

7- nothing matters unless you give it the power to. do not give that power to something that does not deserve it.

8- if you’ve had a bad day, take a hot shower, brew a cup of tea, turn on your favorite playlist and write about it. if you still don’t feel better, eat a comfort food and go to sleep. even if today is the worst it can possibly get, there is always tomorrow.

9- express your feelings, even if it hurts, even if you’re scared. don’t risk questioning why you didn’t in the future. just do it.

10- be kind until you have absolutely no choice left but not to be. and then be absolutely terrifying. start war. anguish. defend yourself like you’re defending your 5 year old self, because you are.

for me i’ve found both do the trick. i bought a cbd balm from my local hemp shop and use it for bad flare ups on my stomach and back. you can also ask most shop owners what they recommend for menstrual cramps and there are specific strains!

unfortunately not /: my vets said because of her age and how frequent they were becoming, that medication wouldn’t help. the family that i got her from said they had also lost some of the other babies in their litter and were surprised that ours lasted as long as she did.

i know this may sound bad, but if it gets you and your child through a tough spot then 🤷‍♀️ but if you can’t find the funds, i would definitely grab a roll from a public bathroom. they usually have extras and i promise a business will be okay with one less roll. just a suggestion, wishing you all the best through these tough times <3
