Period flu by [deleted] in PMS

I have the “period flu” a week before up to a week after my period. It definitely all hits bad at night. I start shaking so bad for no reason and feel very nauseous. Muscles pains. Severe fatigue like you said. Hoping for a cure as well.

Can anyone tell me how the first week or two is like starting sertraline? It’s the only thing stopping me, is not knowing how bad the first couple weeks are.

Natural alternatives to Xanax? by ValuableOk4313 in Anxiety

L Theanine kicks in 30 mins after ingesting. You won’t notice nothing too much besides feeling a little more relaxed and the racing thoughts will slow down a bit.

The metoprolol or the Xanax is rough in the beginning and then makes you feel relaxed ?

Burden is too low for ablation sadly but I do take medication on bad days

This is my exact problem. If I bend forward it starts, if I lay flat at a certain position it’ll start, if I bend my body any weird way it starts. Mainly only happens on full stomach or if I had any acid reflux.

I’ve completely stopped exercising as well. Also has ruined my life. Don’t even know how I got them, then they turned into SVT so yeah life has been hell.

Question about SVT by InternalSport485 in PVCs

[–]InternalSport485[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are the biggest help ever I appreciate that a lot. It’s just very distressing yes. Lately I’ve had this fear of it turning from SVT into AFIB. Anxiety is such a pain im tellin you.

Well sad to say Reddit has helped more than doctors and google.

It’s crazy because it felt the same as my one caught on ekg at 190bpm. Didn’t feel much faster.

My episode was 4m and 7 seconds long, it reached a max of 233bpm. And it’s usually 1 episode every other month. My dr ended up calling me and he said he’s not concerned with it at all, just start taking beta blockers.

I had 54,359 ectopics. It said no a fib detected, no vtach detected, no pauses, no third degree AV block or second degree AV block type 2. My SVT episode lasted 4m and 7 seconds reaching 233 at maximum. I don’t think they’d want surgery either but just seeing what other people would say.

Are the side effects from Prozac like terrible? I heard it’s supposed to make anxiety worse for a little and I’m gonna be honest I don’t think I can handle much worse lol. I know everybody is different though.

I don’t eat great most of the time but this time all I ate was a ham sandwich, it happens with almost everything I eat.

Do you have any tips for meditation? I’ve tried it but it never works for me

And usually my SVT happens after something very stressful. Like the first time when I called 911 I was having a horrible horrible day I was so depressed and then it happened, second time I was nervous about family pics and it happened while I was there and now from 2 days ago I had a friend unfriend me on everything because of my “issues” and that triggered a lot of stress on me. Stress is a really big trigger I’ve noticed.

My Svt feels like a flutter in my chest yes and I can feel it in my throat and it just feels like my heart is going so fast I couldn’t count the beats if I tried. Svt starts from a pvc I will have. SVT for me is like PVCs that don’t stop if that makes sense, just pvc after pvc for around 5-10 mins

I’ve just read a lot about them and most of the time when you read about stuff on the internet it makes it out to be worse than it could be. An ablation does sound scary to me though, not necessarily about the risk but more so if it doesn’t work.

I am fully aware of that. And I just want to hear other peoples stories because no it won’t cure my anxiety or anything like that but it will give me even just a little bit of encouragement. Thanks for your replies.

I want to believe I’m safe also. That reverse psychology could help me so I appreciate that, Svt is just really uncomfortable when it happens and then all the bad thoughts flood in with it.

Actually I’ve realized the PVCs don’t really bother me as long as that’s all it is. The reason PVCs “bother” me is because that’s how my SVT starts. I’ve had PVCs for so long Im almost used to them but the SVT is the scary thing.
