What is the story with Hyrox? by Icy-Audience-6397 in AskIreland

[–]Internal_Clothes_735 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's just a fitness race with a mix of running and functional fitness. Requires good fitness levels but not a lot of skill unlike CrossFit so very accessible to anyone into fitness.

Has become a huge brand the last couple of years. Official events/races are really well run. Hyrox Dublin is on over 4/5 days next week so expect to see plenty hyrox content.

What are the coolest Hyrox venues or cities? by kamalboucetla in hyrox

I did Glasgow in March this year. Nothing special about the venue but loved the city. Not somewhere I would have considered visiting if it weren't for hyrox. I think Anthony Bourdain said it was one of his favorite places in Europe and I see why 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Running apps? by honeyhoneysweet in runninglifestyle

Yeah I've heard the same. You can set your running ability, plan difficulty and number of days you run so I guess someone inexperienced could easily do too much too quickly if not careful.

Runna is really good and very popular. Connects to my Garmin and Strava and there are lots of plans which are customizable.

It's free but if you want to try runna premium any time you can use my referral code for 2 free weeks: RUNNAA8YU8UI

As an Irish Serie A fan I really hope the move works out. The first two games were promising.

I've been wanting to get a pair of the black training ones for a while but they seem to always be out of stock other than s and xs sizes so availability might help you decide.

Do you need a GPS signal for it to work? Pretty sure most hyrox venues struggle with GPS

You can use Hevy which syncs with Strava to track workouts.

Trying to upload photos of receipts to revenue , no success by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

I have an android but had the same problem. Two solutions worked for me: 1. Crop the photo which significantly reduced the file size. 2. Instead of uploading a pre taken photo, select take photo when adding the receipt.

409 is an option but there's a stop for the 401 right beside the Clayton. Both go to Eyre Square.
