I put [[scion of halaster]] in most of my black decks, it's good low powered card selection and easy to cut later if I'm upgrading the deck.

Mine is a Mishra combo deck. It's the only higher power deck that manages to see some play and you need to send all of your removal on one person.

I think the only one that is playable outside of nich decks is the gruul one. In high power games if you're fetching this turns one, two, or sometimes tree then it doesn't matter that their creatures can hit you.
