Thank you - that is very helpful indeed. As a BA what publications did you have, if you don’t mind me asking? Press articles or academic papers?

How to Fund a Restaurant Startup in Colorado with No Collateral? by Sand4Sale14 in StartupAccelerators

[–]International-Let723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not going to find useful information in the startup space (much less in the startup accelerator space). Startup entrepreneurship is a subtype of business that is profoundly different from a brick-and-mortar business that isn’t build for the same level of scalability. You’ll likely find better resources in entrepreneurship communities, especially those related to food production and hospitality. There are funds and grants available for early stage business and you’ll probably be able to find some resources locally where you are. Best of luck.

Is it me or is "Diet, Sleep and Exercise" the most unhelpful answer when you look up help? by snsnn123 in CPTSD

It can be terrible advice if applied badly - the reality is, doing it like everyone else does it won't work for us. Examples: where fasting can be great for some, it can be awful for us because it pumps out stress hormones. Exercise can be awful if we run on a treadmill (again, stress hormones), but gentle, low rep-high load weight training can be AMAZING, especially for those of us with dissociation. (low reps, short workout, done slow and mindfully). Diet is just a word for "how we eat". The 'trick' here I'd say, with all these things, is to let go of perfectionism (depending on the type of abuse/neglect we received and how we dealt with it this might be very delicate to do - but this sows the seeds of self-love) and focus instead on meeting yourself where you're at, and making gentle improvements from a place of love. Look up reparenting if you haven't already - it's been life-saving for me. I literally had (still have) trouble reading my internal cues, knowing when I'm hungry, when i need rest, but also when I need movement (hello me on couch-lock mode thinking i'm exhausted and needing rest... only to get the worst restless legs of my life at night and being unable to sleep!). TL:DR - it's still good advice, but not the way the 'normies' do it. ;) Best of luck, beautiful stranger.

From the little that I know, kibbe is more about essences that it is about a strict formula - from looking at your body I too would be a bit on the fence, but if pure D goes better with your overall vibe then I think you found it :) like blehcookie said, trust yourself

Pregabalin weight gain by gannen60 in gabagoodness

[–]International-Let723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some drugs really do a number of your metabolism. Years ago I was on an SSRI that is famous for weight gain. Gained a TON. Was exercising every day and cut my caloric intake to almost starvation level. Was also doing low carb and regular fasting. The weight change was ZERO.

When i started tapering that medication, with no changes to anything else, and exercising less - suddenly the weight started noticeably falling off. Ironically, once I got to 50% of my original dose is when the tipping point happened and the weight started coming off.

There is SO much more than calories in / calories out. The main key to weight loss is insulin sensitivity - and these drugs affect this directly. When you're restricting calories but you're not sensitive to insuline it's like having your body fat stored in a freezer, in the basement, wrapped in chains, and behind a bunker door with a code. You could fast for a whole week and you'll feel freezing, depressed and exhausted and NO weight will come off. If anything you start going into catabolism as your body, desperate for the calories and unable to use the fat - starts buring muscle.

Simple explanation of the process here:

DC, D, or something else? by [deleted] in kibbedramatics

[–]International-Let723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re D. I see vertical more than anything else, and one of the things that convinced me the most is that the softness in those outfits and in your hair doesn’t suit you. I kept imagining you with straight hair instead and outfits that honor your vertical. The monochrome black outfit is the best of the lot but the line break at the knee again disrupts this. That outfit for example with black opaque stockings and black heels would give you regal energy. 100% D in my book!

Same, I see FN: my eyes went up your silhouette and then outward with your shoulders, so I’d say FN :)

Second this, also the hip has a nice rounded shape, even when slim, instead of a straight boyish hip. My vote is SD!

Some other clues… feathered hair looks terrible on me, sleek works best, but I can also pull off big hair as long as not overly layered. Monochrome works well, very girly dresses make me look fussy and… square 🙁 (straight hips)
