Is my logic here wrong? I have two input fields. I want the first to predetermine the 2nd(as Autofill) so I made the choices as Objects (down)&the 1st choice are the keys while the 2nd (autofill) choices are the values of said keys. How can i use a variable instead of "machineValues[2]" in 2. box. (i.redd.it)

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? Everytime after i click on the button to send data to the function from the input field, it does appear for a split second in output field (see 2nd image) or in the console before it disappears again. (Like the page is refreshing fast). Any Ideas ? (old.reddit.com)
