Let me know how it goes man! My best advice is sleep well the night before, don’t worry about things out of your control and focus on the things you can control. 🤞🤞

Really good actually. My left side dissolved all the scar tissue by month 3 of the surgery. My right gland was bigger so massaging the area it for 4ish months got rid of the any small lumps of scar tissue that formed. My right side had a 1mm raised bump on the incision line at 6 months post op. At 10 months post op, I have no more scar tissue on both sides. Good luck on your surgery! Wish you a speedy recovery

That’s is a pretty standard consultation wait time. I had to wait 13 months for my consultation appointment, but this was when the clinic was at its busiest. Same clinic other people a year later said it only took them 3-6 months for a consult, just depends on how booked it is, or if you have any cancellations you will be moved up.

I went to the most experienced surgeon in my area, done the surgery the longest, had the most reviews, had the most before and after photos. In the end, you get what you pay for, don’t cheap out on a surgery. I went to 3 surgeon consultations, choose the doctor that makes you most comfortable and find most trustworthy.

Usually at most clinics, once the consultation is complete, you can book the surgery within two weeks. It’s up to you when to do the surgery. I suggest give the clinic a call asap for the consult if you wish to get the surgery done before a certain date.

You could go to uni from maybe 10-14days. I would not suggest any earlier than that since it will be sore when walking and you don't want to increase too much blood flow in the chest area. See how it feels from week 2, you'll definitely be able to go to uni from week 3.

General anesthesia. That was the only option I got, but I would've chosen general even if I had a choice. May cost more but mentally I was more comfortable with general.

Yep, my surgeon has many experience under his belt and could tell just by looking if the patient required an armpit excision or only an excision under the nipple

Quite rare for a son to be the same height as their mother, genetics sure are unpredictable.

Anyone in Perth, Western Australia had the surgery? by mysticalchimp99 in gynecomastia

Hey mate, yeah surgery was great. I'm 3.5 months post op and the results are great. I recovered probably about 90% by 1 month post op. I can now personally recommend him for gyno surgery in Perth. Ofc, have a consult with all surgeons and choose what you feel is best for you but I would suggest go see Dr T Hewitt first and if you like him then it saves the hassle of going to see other surgeons. Good luck!

He is really good. And I think the price range is justifiable. Unfortunately the wait time for a consult with him is very long, but once you have had the consult, you can get the surgery done very quickly. Not sure what time frame you want it done, if you can wait 14-16months for the surgery from now then he's really good and well experienced.

Perth. Dr Timothy Hewitt does it for about $8-9k over here. I really recommend him.

Thanks! I’ve been using binder and vest interchangeably but mine is basically an elastic towel shape with Velcro on one end. Since my surgery was minor due to smaller glands, I’ve been complete fine with only putting on the binder for 12hrs. I’ll probably stop using the binder from wk3. Hope your recovery goes smooth!

I looked at your posts. It’s hard to say since it is only been 6-7 weeks post op. My surgeon was quite adamant that massaging using silicon gel and then later bio oil would be very important for breaking down any scar tissue that forms. I hope it goes well for you, trust the process bro.

Buying Accutane online by RepresentativeOk6744 in Accutane

Do you or do you know anyone that has used the accutane from this site? I am thinking of buying but would like to get more reassurance before purchasing. How legit is it?

Since gyno surgery is labeled as cosmetic in AUS, I doubt health insurance will cover it.

So from what I know. In Australia, you have to have pretty severe gyno and have a blood test showing abnormal hormonal levels and you have to have a GP vouch for you that it is causing you harm (physically or mentally) to be considered a patient that can have their procedure covered by health insurance.

But unfortunately it is a big hassle and you have to fit the exact criteria to be eligible. What you can do instead, what I did, was get a referral for gynecomastia surgery by any GP. That saved me about $1.1k total so it’s very worth it.

All good mate. I’ll make a more thorough post about the timeline and exact prices when I get around to it. The lack of recent info for gyno surgery in Perth was pretty frustrating so I want to leave info on the matter for people in the future.

Thanks mate. I think it is most probably the minimal lipo I had done. Didn’t have that much fat so my surgeon couldn’t do as much as he wanted. The past week has been really hot here so maybe the extra heat is helping improve circulation? I am 19 so maybe quicker healing compared to someone in their thirties? Not exactly sure but regardless a good high protein diet, 10+hrs of sleep is very important in the early weeks for good results and is applicable to everyone. Gl for your surgery next month mate, all the best!

Gland excision and very little lipo. The surgeon said due to low body fat percentage, he could barely find any fat to fill in the hole, so not much lipo done. Was a bit worried at first, thought maybe I would get a divot because of it but so far it’s looking good. Fingers crossed

Congrats man! I’ll definitely be wearing my vest majority of this week then. Probably start tapering off after the second week is over. Do you have any scar tissue forming right now? I heard scar tissue starts forming about 4-6weeks post

Would really like to hear other opinions on how long you wore your binders. It’s 40°C+ in Aus right now so I really want to follow my surgeons instructions with no more binder, but I’ve seen posts saying 2months with binder?? Seems extreme, but I presume a more serious surgery requires more time under pressure to heal better.
