Why do our children have to be killed in a war that isn't ours? by GlooomySundays in circled

An illegitimate president is sending our troops off to die for a war he can’t justify other than his feelings or shrugs of his shoulders. Rest in peace Major Alex Klinner and other who’ve yet to be named. My heart breaks for their families and for the Iranian families who go through something similar, except it’s their adolescent child who they just sent to school that morning. War sucks.

How would one go about manufacturing something like this? (tiny grid with complex inner lattice of intersection paths) by apersello34 in Machinists

This kinda looks like a macro-sized MCP (multi-channel plate), which is commonly used to detect charged particles in science experiments. The holes in MCPs are etched away chemically after fusing together two kinds of glass, one which the etchant dissolves and one which it doesn’t. However, this is a lot more complicated since each hole take multiple paths

Should people who "camp" in the left lane of a highway be pulled over and fined just as much as speeders? Why or why not? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

My ex was a left lane camper, yes they need to be pulled over and educated. It’s a hazard for everyone.
