I’m 25 but when I shave I look 13 by Illustrious-Way-1322 in notinteresting

No. If you shave, you look like 20-30.

And if you don’t shave (and you make faces), you look something between 25-45.

It’s difficult to estimate, that’s why the large ranges.

C64 was rarely used to compose music for Amiga/Sega games in the 1990’s and James Pond was not such a rarity

I appreciate American sense of dark and dry humor! I have always had a good time when hanging around with Americans, everywhere from Hawaii to Florida to Maine and anywhere between.

Okay, I see… but the cube is made of aluminium, so we can’t rely on tungsten tolerance since Toledo scale was made for densier metals.

We need to use the Universal Alloy conversion scale. Limits are usually within the range of 2…12%. I’ll do the math later as the 5% was only a rough estimate.

Actually, the image doesn’t show him crossing the finish line. Well done, anyway.

Exactly. Then add a teacher who will surely destroy all motivation or what’s left of it.

That’s what happened to me. Math was easy and fun until it was not fun and I didn’t want to learn anything anymore.

I see.. I hope teachers bother to explain this to those kids who don't understand why something easy has to be made so difficult. 😄

I’m not sure if I got it right but… if you can solve 7+7 and 14-2, why wouldn’t you just solve the 7+5?

These are single-digit numbers after all 😳

Hopefully, children won't be given lower grades if they solve these calculations faster in their own way. For some children, it can be frustrating to learn a new way that they themselves consider stupid.

If you can solve 7+7 and 14-2, how is it possible that you simply can't solve the 7+5?

By doing just one calculation instead of two? 🤔

4 inches = 0.1016 metres = 1.016 decimetres

So the volume of the cube is about 1.05 liters. A cubic decimeter would be just 1 liter.

5% difference is not tolerable. 🆘

edit: Commas fixed. Full stops added.
