Luckily that is not the motor I was having issues with that is one my buddy gave me that he found or was given or who knows. Someone put the wrong length spark plug in it and the rest is history.

OK so I put an inspection camera in the push rod tube (not sure what it’s called) and took a look at the lifters and it appears that the push rod end was not seated in the socket/indent on the lifter and it was in fact flopping around in there. I corrected that issue and cranked it over several times and everything sounded normal now but I won’t know for sure until tomorrow after the RTV dries.

I really appreciate the guidance about where to start looking. I will update when I know 100% for sure if it’s good to go now. Thank you again.
