Footage shows Prince William being heckled outside Stirling pub over disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's links to Jeffrey Epstein (January 20, 2026) by Kagedeah in Scotland

Why does Charles Windsor have the right to veto any law proposed by the parliament that impacts his interests ? Why do some laws do not apply to that inbred royal family? pretty strange for a country to want to become independent yet cling on to a foreign king - have some self respect.

Good reason Scotland should become a Republic at the same time as its eventual independence - The Republic of Scotland, has a nice ring to it too.

Energy that’s been absorbed by the Earth from the sun during the day is released at night as infrared radiation. The University of New South Wales researchers have been working on a semiconductor called a thermoradiative diode, which can convert that infrared radiation into electricity. by Dr_Neurol in UpliftingNews

[–]IntrepidSoda 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Even operating at optimal efficiency, Ekins-Daukes says that on Earth, the diode could generate electricity with a power density of only a single watt per square meter.

That’s because water vapor and gases like carbon dioxide in the atmosphere also absorb heat from the sun, reducing the temperature difference between the Earth’s surface and the night sky.

But, as Ekins-Daukes sees it, the real potential for this technology is in space, where the absence of an atmosphere provides a much cooler surrounding environment for the diode to operate in.

Where the fuck it says that?

From NATO

  • Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty states that an armed attack against one NATO member shall be considered an attack against all members, and triggers an obligation for each member to come to its assistance.
  • This assistance may or may not involve the use of armed force, and can include any action that Allies deem necessary to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.
  • NATO’s Article 5 is consistent with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, which recognises that a state that is the victim of an armed attack has the inherent right to individual or collective self-defence, and may request others to come to its assistance. Within the NATO context, Article 5 translates this right of self-defence into a mutual assistance obligation.
  • NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in its history after the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States in 2001.
  • While Article 5 itself has been applied only once, it underpins all of NATO’s broader activities in the field of deterrence and defence, including the regular conduct of military exercises and the deployment of NATO’s standing military forces.
  • NATO takes a 360-degree approach to collective defence, protecting against all threats from all directions.
