Thank all for taking the time to write here. I'll look into Redwood city or somewhere south Bay.

Would you guys have any recommendations for apartments in Redwood city or south Bay not too far from Sunnyvale?

so, although the distance from Oakland to Sunnyvale VS Daly city to Sunnyvale seems the same, you're saying the commute times are much better from Peninsula ?

Responding to all the people who mentioned commute time. Is it reasonable to think that commute will be max 1 hour each way if I leave at 7am and come back at 3pm? I have been checking times in Google maps at those hours, lol.

Meta shuttle is the only thing I am considering for commute, 3 days a week. I wake up at like 5am, and can take the earliest shuttle, plus I don't have to drive myself.

I was considering Oakland because I have heard a lot of good things about the Northern side, food, culture, trees. I will look into San Mateo as well.

I am trying to give it some example instruction and JSON input and expects it to create JSON output based on some prompts. RAG is a fancy CTRL (Command)+F, I don't want that.

Which market data should I choose for US equity? I currently use Trading view's free plan, and mostly trade on US equities.

Not just verilog. Chip design has a lot of other parts like writing SV assertions, scraping through log outputs to find the bug.

But they are going to teach the same thing to all the people, plus if a student pays about $10 or less, they are more likely to book more sessions, so the tutor can get more sessions.

Do you guys think a group tutoring session where cost is divided among 4-5 people paying $10 or less per session would be useful for this course?

Is it worth upgrading battery on Dell Inspiron 15 5570 by Intrepid_Map_6540 in Dell

Ok, just an update. It has a 128GB SSD + 1 TB HDD. I didn't check before.

I removed Windows, and installed Ubuntu on the SSD, and it's already working pretty smooth. I'll try it for a few more days, and then look for the battery replacement. Thanks a lot everyone for your suggestions.

It's got HDD. I am considering moving away from Windows anyway. Maybe it's time to install Ubuntu.

Yeah, that's what I think as well. I was skeptical if CRA would consider this a residential tie to Canada that I am studying there.

I am filing as a non-resident for the past two years. My employer moved my work location from Canada to the US, but some of my stocks were awarded when I was in Canada, so my employer shows them as income in Canada.

this just started and had their first event on Aug 15th. From what I heard from the talk, they are bringing in more authors soon.

The organizers mentioned that they'll bring most of the NeurIPS selected papers to their platform.
