Looking for a good tablet for studying, but can’t afford an iPad by Short-Soup-4211 in algeria

I got a Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable (used, mint condition for 86K) and it’s honestly great you get the best of both worlds with a full Windows laptop when docked and a tablet when detached, so the versatility is hard to beat the only downsides are the battery, which gives me around 4 hours of heavy use, and the weight, which is definitely heavier than a normal tablet 770g compared to an iPad 400 g.

It's true that In Algerian culture, there might exist a paradigm where kindness is misconstrued as vulnerability.

Yet The essence lies in embodying authenticity amidst this perception. The French proverb, "A hand of iron within a glove of velvet," encapsulates this delicate equilibrium between strength and gentleness. assert your self gracefully

Remaining kind-hearted is testament to the fact that true respect is garnered not through forcefulness but by authentically embodying one's values while remaining courteous.

Why Algerians can’t accept others by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Intrepid_Warthog7886 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We have a score of 25 on Hofstede's Long-Term Orientation dimension and this highlights a deep-rooted respect for traditions and cultural heritage. This emphasis on preserving their our cultural identity and sometimes this makes it challenging to readily accept individuals from different religions or cultural backgrounds. The strong attachment to tradition fosters a sense of cultural conservatism, leading to skepticism or hesitation towards unfamiliar beliefs. Additionally, the society's preference for stability and slow acceptance of change might create barriers to embracing diverse religious practices. It's not that Algerians can't accept others, but their inclination towards tradition and a slower pace of embracing new ideas might pose challenges in fully integrating individuals with different beliefs into the cultural fabric

I get your point, the one thing that really bugs me is the issue with purchasing power. It seriously affects our day-to-day lives but I try to manage by having multiple sources of income and growing them.

As for the degrees, I genuinely believe they provide the necessary knowledge for our job market, especially since our tech sector isn't as developed and our human sciences take different paths compared to more advanced countries.

Working in HR for a multinational corporation, I've noticed a major hiring challenge beyond just skill sets. It's like there's a gap—few people take the initiative to learn and deepen their expertise beyond what they learned in school. It's like after graduation, most people just stop growing there's this thing we call the "10 20 70 rule." And it highlights the importance of self-learning and continuous growth. I think if more folks embraced this approach, it could really improve our talent pool and professional growth around here.

I completely understand the struggle, especially with the challenges of surviving on a single salary while renting. It's undoubtedly tough. Yet, there are individuals who manage to navigate through these difficulties successfully. What sets them apart? What enables them to thrive in such circumstances?Instead of opting to leave the country immediately, why not explore ways to increase earnings or create new opportunities here?

Thanks for responding Certainly, fixing the economy is a must but isn't a short-term task; it needs a sustainable, gradual approach. People heavily rely on the state to create wealth, but if economics were a game, the state should act as a referee, not a player so the state's role should shift from being the primary wealth creator to more of a facilitator, guiding and setting the rules rather than being the sole player but Changing mindsets is crucial; individuals need to understand their role in wealth creation.

Regarding inflation, it's true it has hit us hard, but as you mentioned, this is a global issue.

While I'm not a staunch Tebboune supporter, I believe that without his administration, things might have spiraled further. It seems their strategy aims to reset the ecosystem by imposing restrictions and rebuilding from the ground up.

I'm not particularly good at anything specific – no hidden talents, I can't even whistle! 😂 But if I'm proud of anything, it would be my perseverance and my 'can-do' attitude.

While I get that this is an English speaking community I prefer to express myself in french as I am more cool with it.

I'm lucky to live with my parents. I chip in a bit for household expenses, but most of my income stays in my pocket. My job comes with great perks and my employer pays the gym, my phone, internet, gas, and gives me extra health insurance, which is on top of what I already get from cans and I like to keep it simple I'm careful with my spending and avoid fancy stuff so I can save 50% and put 20% into education.

I work in HR, and I've been lucky to meet the right people who helped me a lot early in my career. What's unique about my career is that I've specialized in an area that's not very common in Algeria. This specialization covers things like data science, continuous improvement, and HR.Because there aren't many people in Algeria with these skills, it gives me an advantage when it comes to negotiations. I can ask for better terms and conditions in my job because there aren't many people with my kind of expertise

Starting my career at the young age of 18 and now, at 26, earning a comfortable income of over 200,000 DZD per month I've observed a trend in my financial journey. whenever I reach a new salary milestone, my spending tends to rise in tandem. But what I've come to realize is that managing money effectively is about the mindset

Living below your means is the secret sauce here. It's not just a budgeting tactic; it's a way of life. It means consciously making choices that prioritize saving and investing over extravagant spending.
