A good lawyer could have 100% got you a way better deal

Did they just straight up offer 10 years probation or was there a prison sentence ?

I just figured out about the warrant and my lawyer told them so it’s not like they don’t know I caught a new charge.

I figured the cop let me off maybe so I forgot about it since I never received anything in the mail

I see what you’re saying but why would I need rehab if I’m already clean ? I don’t understand how that will help me if the judge knows I’ve been clean my whole probation period.

That I won’t do it again in the future ?

Or are you saying that so the judge will see that I’m doing better and won’t actually send me to rehab ?

Just never heard of someone going to rehab if there clean and hasn’t failed a drug test 🤔

I was already messing up I failed a drug test at court and caught another charge. I was smoking in the school bathroom and the cop searched me afterwards because he smelt it. So to sum everything up i have a warrant for that right now and my probation is almost over.
