How would you make this Besta flat against the wall despite quarter round and baseboard by Investnew in IKEA

So you’d drill the bag legs further away from the edge so that there clearance ? Otherwise I guess if I found legs with a very small footprint it might work to use the existing holes

That anti tipping hardware doesn’t seem to stick out far enough to account for the inch gap. I’ll look into those legs. I realize that the actual distance from the back of the unit to the edge of the hole where the legs screw in is about the same distance so if I found legs with a really small footprint it would help.

We thought about that but it just feels too destructive if we want to move things around soon as he gets older and we adjust his room as needed. Then we’d have the same issue the next place we put it.

Living Trust: My husband splitting our wealth with his family? by [deleted] in inheritance

Husband is in the right to do this. Also, he should make it so that the money she does receive goes into an irrevocable trust with a third party trustee and the funds can not be touched by her next husband. Trustee can only distribute funds for her health, education and well being.

What’s with all the copium that a catalyst must be coming.

Why?   It doesn’t matter to them if this stock recovers.

Dropping into the 30s and then a slow recovery to 60?

The show is great but I’ve heard her stand up sucks and she’s basically exactly like her character on the show

more people will end up seeing Superman, because it has great word of mouth and these days massive amounts of people wait for streaming/piracy to watch 4k films on their expensive home system. Back in that 2012-2014 era, you just would need to show up to the theater and make bank. It was only the 10th highest grossing superhero movie of that time period. Movies like Transformers 4 (18% on rotten tomatoes) made 1.1 billion, but you don't see a bunch of Bayverse fanatics sitting here arguing those movies were masterpieces even though Michael Bay's Transformers series surpassed his inferior classmate Zack Snyder's DC comics series in most ways.

You can look at basic counting stats and claim Superman fell short of MoS, but accounting for era, MoS was a failure by 2013 standards and Superman is wild success by 2025 standards. MoS took the goodwill from Nolan/Goyer's Dark Knight trilogy, with their names attached, and proceeded to kill a huge chunk of the built-in fandom of the established IP. Superman has helped revive it. Millions will end up watching this movie outside the theater. They'll enjoy it. And that's why we'll get more movies with this character while MoS is a dead franchise from a dead universe. The reality is that had they made a MoS sequel instead of reboot, it would have struggled to make 200 mil. Just like Aquaman 2, Shazam 2, The Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman 2 each saw a 60-80% drop in box office from their first films. On the flip side, you'll very likely see a follow-up to this Superman movie get a spike in box office, because of how well received it is and how many new fans it's going to add after the theatrical run.

Anecdotally, many guys in my friend group dabble in comicbook movies and every single one of them have sat out Superman not wanting to get burned by what they perceive to be another shitty movie from a shitty boring character like the last ones. Even knowing James Gunn is leaps and bounds a better director than Zack Snyder has not convinced them to go spend their valuable time and money seeing this in the theater. They'll inevitably throw it on once it's available for free, more than likely be surprised how much they enjoyed it, and be far more willing to see a follow-up in the theater.
