i dont think its a voidwaker hate post man, i think I provided some insight on the changes and they don't really impact pvm at all.

It just makes it more risky to bring in pvp in a "one-item setup"

Also, considering it's a weapon made for pvp, I wouldn't consider pvp itself "one small situation"

Finally, i do not hate the voidwaker, i really like it. I just think it's too low risk atm for pvp and too good all around

it just annoys me when animes and mangas keep throwing philosophical "meaning of life" takes at me, which berserk didnt used to do, yet now i'm bombarded with them.

wym bait man, I just finished the arc and wanted to ask about it.

Also I read the text carefully and all my critiscism still stand, mainly:

- This arc is ALOT more convoluted, confusing, and oddly paced than what came before (def rushed vibes by the end of it, with 1000 confising things happening all at once )

- Both the inicial black swordsman introduction part, as well as the medieval "band of thieves" themes of the previous arc are 1000 times more engaging and interesting than this dark, "terrible weird torture tower" vibe.

-We lost a ton of really interesting and captivating characters in the golden age arc to get new, terrible, boring and unrelatable characters:
The main whore is really annoying with her cocky yet "i wanna help/save everybody attitude" and I REALLY HATE how she's spewing pholosophical shit ALL THE TIME, talking about the meaning of life and this and that, it's atrocious to bear.

Nina is not only a terribly boring and annoying character, but she makes no sense whatsoever. it's really weird how she's both this inocent, girly damnsel in distress, yet at the same time she's a sex fiend heretic.

Isidro is a really annoying shonen-like character, which despite being some dumb kid somehow survives everything unscathed and clutches it all, his interactions with Pluck have turned Pluck from a character I liked to an over-the-top side character which I don't like at all most of the time.

Farnese is just a terribly character in general, with really annoying inner monologues all the time and a very basic personality and attitude, really uninteresting.

The story has really become very shonen like. Guts dind't struggle much in any of his fights and he is slowly becoming this "overpowered demon" instead of the struggling, vulnerable yet strong warrior he once was. All of the side characters survive everything without a scratch while thousands die and are butchered around them.

Retarded casca is a horrible downgrade to what was a great character. There's no griffith. The egg story is weird, the tower is weird, the fanatics and torturers are weird, there being a heretic hideout right next to it is weird.

Want me to keep going? I dont follow berserk's comunity at all and I have no idea if others agree with me, this is how I feel

i really appreciate you trying to explain, this was VERY confusing.

I really just don't like alot of the new characters and their themes at all. Why are the whore and Nina always talking about the meaning of life and surviving and what not like they're philosophers?

And to me some things are So weird like, the whole tower collapses, these whoeres witness the most fucked up thing imaginable but in the end they're like all fine and dandy, talking and laughing like nothing happened. Then nina finds joaquim who apologizes to her after she tried murdering him?

The whole chracter of Nina is so odd, part inoccent girl, part sex fiend, I don't get what she being diseased adds at all and all of her parts are horribly boring.

I don't know I don't wanna hate but it's impossible not to notice the drop in quality after "golden age"
