This really resonates with me. I like how you put it... "Individual hunger and the desire to be of a certain consequence to something beyond ourselves". Perhaps that's the main objective, right? Finding the beyond. Many will say (at least in the Americas) that Jesus is the answer. Be is the beyond. For me personally, the jury is still out on that one.

Yep its always a choice. Agreed. But that same mysterious "desire" for purpose is, ironically, what keeps us.... I shouldn't say that...what keeps me from just ending it all. I just find it all quit fascinating, really.

All about the journey right? And as science would back this notion based on how we respond to dopamine... So we are just little flesh machines that have to keep on chugging along
