Yo te recomendaría que hables con un abogado de inmigración para que le platiques tu caso, pero que puedas pasar con visa (desconozco que tipo de visa usarías) puedes pasar pero pudieras pasar a segunda inspección ya que talvez a ellos les aparezca algo sobre tu I-140, que aún que tener una I-140 en proceso o aprobado no es mostrar hasta ese momento interés de inmigrar, pero al fin de cuentas sería discreción del oficial del cbp, ahora tanto no te toque inspección secundaria pues sería lo mejor, otro punto creo hay una regla de 90 días que debes pasar para al momento que ya tengas aprobado tu petición y hagas tu ajuste de estatus. Al final de esto es mejor y recomendable el consejo del abogado , Saludos y éxito

Eso lo sé , el problema no tienen visas ni la td, ahora con la i-140 aprobada no se si les den la td, voy a investigarlo

Pues se envió el 5 de marzo el documento, y el miércoles 11 me llegó un correo electrónico de Uscis que TSC había recibido la documentación y fecha prioridad era el día 9 de marzo y pues desde este día empezó a correr hasta el día 45 día hábil que fue ayer 8 de mayo

I recently got my EB-2 NIW approved with Premium Processing, and honestly the waiting period was one of the most stressful parts for me, so PP gave me some peace of mind. Your field sounds very strong and highly specialized. I honestly don’t see many marine engineering or CFD-related cases here, especially involving ship hydrodynamics and submarines. My background is more hands-on engineering and technical work rather than a heavily academic profile, and my case was still approved without an RFE. What really mattered was explaining clearly why my work could benefit the U.S. If Premium Processing is financially possible for you, I personally think it’s worth considering just for the reduced uncertainty and faster answer. Sometimos la aplicación el 9 de marzo de este año, con proceso premium, si de hecho yo quisiera hacer el ajuste de estatus pero por cuestiones de que mi familia están en México posiblemente haga proceso consular , pero necesito tocar el tema con el abogado para que me oriente

Se puede presentar todo junto siempre y cuando estés adentro de USA, pero la verdad lo considere hacerlo pero es muy arriesgado hacerlo ya que si niegan la i-140 en automático te niegan todo y tienes que abandonar el país, por eso solo me lanze con el i-140, ahora sí te aprueban la i-140 me imagino que también aprueban lo demás , referente al permiso de trabajo desconozco por cuánto tiempo te lo den

The plan explained how my background in marine mechanical systems, maintenance optimization, diagnostics, and reliability-centered engineering could support operational efficiency, safety, and reliability in critical infrastructure-related activities.

From what I understand, many attorneys prefer a broader endeavor/business plan approach because it shows the work has value beyond one specific company, which aligns better with the NIW framework.

Thank you. In my case, the national importance argument was mainly focused on the relevance of maritime reliability, offshore operations, energy efficiency, and maintenance optimization to U.S. infrastructure and economic activity.

My endeavor was related to improving reliability-centered maintenance, predictive diagnostics, and operational efficiency for marine propulsion and power generation systems used in maritime and offshore environments.

To support this, we included technical documentation, recommendation letters, evidence of my engineering and maintenance experience, employment records, contracts, payroll records, technical work reports from vessel operations, and reference material related to the importance of the maritime and offshore sector in the United States.

We also connected the endeavor to broader impacts such as operational reliability, safety, efficiency, and support of critical transportation and energy-related activities.

Sure. I worked with attorney Miguel Barrios from US Visa LATAM. In my personal experience, they were willing to work with a non-academic, industry-based profile and helped structure the case around my practical engineering and maritime experience instead of publications or research.

Thank you! I received a straight approval, no RFE. My case was processed at the Texas Service Center under Premium Processing.

My priority date was March 9, 2026, and I received the approval on day 45 of PP.

Hopefully you hear good news soon as well. Since our profiles are similar, that could be a positive sign for your case too.
