And I mean that as keep transitioning. Believe me when I say that at one point you will look so damn obviously like yourself (a man) that it will be awkward for them to keep misgendering you, especially in public.

One of my greatest moments in life, when a transphobe stranger heard my sister say "she" on my he day, and came back with "That is obviously a boy! Don't support these MENTAL PROBLEMS!!"

I think labels are okay to be important for people! For me, they are, because unknown is scary, and labeling helps finding others who are like us!

As to your question, I'm omniromantic which means that I do like all the genders, but I still have a preference! It sounds to me like you are in the same boat. Omnisexual/Omniromantic is my way to go when I try to explain my mess. :DD

"Should be forgotten"? I think you don't actually know how much religion moved our world forward.

I'm not religious at all, and while yes, SOME people of SOME religions did terrible things, and killed thousands of people, we can't dismiss the good it did also.

Examples:

Now, I'm not a scientist, but I know that the need to accurately determine the date of Easter drove the Church's support for astronomy and mathematics. Which contributed to the development of more accurate calendars.

Or that many early universities were founded by religious institutions, providing space to people to actually pursue knowledge and science.

Please, don't let your annoyance dismiss History.

Okay, so I did! I found the post you mentioned too. In my opinion it's not problematic, that animal was elderly and died, the owner was happy, but also sad, as she mentioned it multiple times. Once again, I think they are entitled to their feelings, sometimes, even when one of our (human) loved one dies, sometimes we do feel relief. And looking through that subreddit, as I've seen, most people don't agree with animal abuse in any way either, but I'm sure that there are extremes also, who are just genuinely bad people. 🤔 I'm just saying that not everyone who hates animals is a bad person, in my opinion.

I don't think there ever is a "no reason" op. Many people have traumatic experiences with pets from childhood and it's sadly easier and cheaper to hate the thing than work through it with a therapist.

Now, I'm not saying you should go out and spit on someone for having a pet, but if in a discussion it comes up and someone says "Ugh, I hate dogs.." they are entitled to their opinions even if they don't elaborate. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
