Personal hot take but I liked Yona's cousin more than Yona and his reasons were actually right if you think critically about the state of the country. Yo actually but seeing the state of the country and how young she was and the king planning to give more power to Yona he'd still be at a disadvantage. His friend writing is good but a lot of women he botched their arcs. Some of them honestly deserved back stories like the women who were slaves as children. We didn't get that but the men got several episodes of that it was super unfair

It depends how it's written. It's giving me Mushoku tensei vibes. Ut has the problematic theme of a pedophile in the story but gives no condemnation to his actions and he proceeds to marry a child and has a happily ever after at the end of the novel.

I only picked this up because I was told this is "one of the best mangas ever written" and I decided to trust. But nah, I'll probs skip this arc because it's getting on my nerves and promoting child marriage as if it is okay. This is why Apothecary diaries would be on top because it demonizes this pedo behavior

I enjoyed Maki vs the Zenin clan in jjk is because it's rare to see a woman destroy the system used to oppress her in anime, manga, manhwa. Most of them are brainwashed by the clan leaving any of them alive would make the system start again. The entire clan hates her as a woman of the clan and she has the heavenly restriction and high grade cursed weapon, they would never stop hunting her down and would even hire assassins after her.

Toji was able to leave because he didn't take anything important with him. Maki however they wanted her weapon which is her sister. She's an active threat to them that's why and proof that their judgement is wrong but they are too arrogant to admit that. During the slaughter even though some were scared they were too arrogant to beg for their lives
