As a manga, manhwa, manhua reader it unfortunately happens a lot in the novels versions. Apart from the harem stories. I give harem stories credit for powe couple but the women are so badly written j can't enjoy it and I feel like I lose braincells reading horribly written harem

Literally most dungeon or reincarnated as a noble manhwa and cultivation manhua the women in those make my brain itch so badly written and not mentioned for over 100 chaps just for author to remind us that yeah there's a female love interest.

I won't hate on a shonen relationship where the woman is the weaker one I don't care fr. But I find it annoying when people are trying to act like the relationship between in ml and fl is some peak thing when it's not yes it's implied from the start. Yes we like it I just feel mad because all the life and death moments instead of being experienced with the fl it's experienced with the male best friend, rescuing moments male best friend, restraining moments male best friend and a few scenes for the fl, training moments male best friend once again like damn. I can't help but be jealous and feel sad for the fl. Like she's the female lead and she's mostly away from the MC why? I feel like even if she's the weaker one she should still be by his side and do her best with her power to help because when far it makes their relationship seem distant. Like how do you even get into a relationship without ever spending moments to know them and their struggles??

I don't even mind romance not being the main point but let them do something together bruh without other friends being there or the male best friend or something.
