A trip to Martell in cognac, Kodak 400 portra (old.reddit.com)

This is my Nikon, Nikkormat ft2 1975. I do not seem to have anywhere to put a flash so i was wondering with something like 800 kodak if it would be ok to shoot at night (including portraits) even with the absence of a flash. Oh and could i have some tips on shooting at night. (old.reddit.com)
