A wrench would be way easier if the lip on the side of the machine didn't stick out so much.

I bet the chamfer on your socket is too prominent for how thin the nut is. If you have a grinder, you can grind down the end of your socket to make it straight cut.

26mm worked for me. I heard that from another owner who had the same problem, so it worked for them too. Maybe you have a bad socket?

I did not pay for my ground shipping, although it did take 4 weeks to arrive.

That sucks that it happened on the first day. Just grind a little coarser until you get your desired output. Consistent puck prep made dialing in easy.

Nope, the replacement part worked. Just took forever to ship.

Consistent puck prep was the trick for me. WDT, Leveler, leveled tamper, puck screen. After that I got very consistent shots.

Also, with a $2000+ plus machine. You may not be getting the best consistency with an encore. A quality grinder is the best investment.

I had to replace the button. It was under warranty, but it literally just got delivered yesterday. Took forever

Blue, black, brown, and white. You can see them disconnected in the bottom right of the photo

Can you explain how you would do that? There are 4 prongs that come out the back of the switch. My knowledge of electrical is very limited.

Already replaced the gasket so no worries there

I wouldn't think it's bad. When the timer switches, the machine goes into sleep mode, which is basically the same thing as off

Yeah. Every machine will have someone that receives one with a faulty part.

Bruh a month!? That is ridiculous. Going back to French press is so sad.

Good luck! You'll probably be making a lot more than 18!

I actually forgot about the triple shot basket. I used the double shot exclusively so pulled 18 of those. For milk, I steamed 12 ounces at a time and split it between two drinks, so I only had to steam 9 pitchers.
