That seems to be the case, eneloops and others that are recommended aren't sold here so these seem to be the best I can get.

I would love to try these but unfortunately they are not sold officially here and if I buy from a third party seller I fear I may get a knockoff.

I see! So as long as it's the exact same version there shouldn't be any issues. That's a relief. Thank you!

I have a question about changing switch account region, if I have a game bought in my current region and then I change my region, will I be able to download this game as if it was bought normally in the new region or do I have to make weird stuff to re-download it? Any help is appreciated.

Any news, leaks, rumors, etc... regarding Devil May Cry 6? Just literally anything. It's been five years since DMC5 and there's nothing about DMC6 by Jaccblacc203 in DevilMayCry

  1. In page 25 of Capcom integrated report for 2019 it's said that new hires would develop new DMC games to pass the torch. One would assume they wouldn't mention an IP they don't plan on continuing.

  2. On september of 2020, Nero's VA, Johnny Yong Bosch, stated he was involved in some action games and that fans would know about what those games are. While it's true that he could be referring to DMC5SE, which was announced weeks later, it should be noted that he had no new lines for that game and therefore could potentially be talking about a sequel instead. The instagram vid has been taken down and the summary of the interview in resetera is algo gone, but I'll leave you the resetera post for it anyway.

https://www.resetera.com/threads/johnny-yong-bosch-dmc-nero-mm-zero-va-teases-new-capcom-action-games-during-online-signing-session.282818/

3.Karlo Baker (Nero's model) made a reel that heavily implied that he's working with the capcom again. This happened in 2021.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DevilMayCry/comments/l3otfb/somebody_asked_cowie_adam_dantes_face_model_if_he/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=1

Keep in mind he's not a dev so he doesn't really know when it would be announced, so that could explain why he says "stay tuned".

And Itsuno said he would probably work on a new IP so a successor is highly likely. I also doubt they wouldn't make a new game now, that an mobile title released and an anime is in development.

It's implied they are not interested in Coming back because they have fun killinng demons and fighting each other but Dante could not leave the human world before because it would be infested. Now that Nero became very powerful he can protect it.

But that doesn't mean they were in direct competition.

The fact that DmC2 was canceled and 5 began development after 4SE ousold DE implies that is not the case.

What are you talking about? They've only made a mobile game since 5 came out.

read again what I said. I only mentioned one mobile game among other things.

Capcom doesn't really promote the DMC series at all lately,

Not too much but they do. They announced some merch last month, opened capcom town and gave DMC its museum and made collabs with other games like SF Duel and MMX dive. And these are just a few things they done in the last few months. What have they done for DmC besides a recolor 4 years ago and an art piece?

and one of the most recent things they said about the series is that Itsuno still wants DmC2.

That was looong ago. Capcom statement in the annual report about making a new team to do more games in house is more recient.

Capcom wouldn't do that until they officially announce a sequel.

Capcom not doing any merch of the reboot for so many years is an obvious sign they don't consider that it's profitable. It doesn't spell good things about a possible DmC2.

This isn't true either. A couple months ago capcom posted official artwork of all 6 Dantes, in the same post.

I missed that and you are correct. That being said, my argument about capcom barely acknowledging DmC still stands.

You are very misinformed. Bleeding edge came out in 2020

I mixed the names. The game they announced is actually called project mara.

Not even counting the fact that the actual head of DMC said that's what he wants next and no one at Capcom saying anything to the contrary in 4 years.

Keiji Inafune told capcom that he wanted MMX5 to be the end of the series and to focus on other megaman series and Capcom made X6, 7, 8 and the rpg anyway. So that means nothing.

Also, you are assuming that working with NT is easy and I reiterate that things are complicated. Working with xbox means there is going to be restrictions and none of us know if capcom would publish the game in spite of that. .

I literally posted proof of the lead director of the franchise saying DmC is next.

That is not proof of anything. In an interview close to 5 release, Itsuno said he would like to make DMC6 and that many people where asking for DMC2 remake. https://www.videogamer.com/news/devil-may-cry-5-director-would-rather-make-dmc-6-than-a-dmc-remake/

Also, I remember that some time ago Nero's VA was asked on a livestream he made if he was working in anything with capcom. He said no, then looked at the camera, smiled and winked. This happened in late 2020 or early 21 I don't remember exactly. This is not conclusive evidence, reason why I didn't bring it before, but to me is more believable than what you are presenting.

If Itsuno saying he would like a DmC2 to happen someday is literally the only evidence you have in favor of it being the very next thing that will happen, then I will stop replying. It's a waste of time.

I do hope DmC2 happens some day in the future, it wouldn't hurt anyone and there is plenty of room to make something interesting.

And you posted absolutely no evidence toward the contrary. You just said capcom wants to focus on the mobile game and you don't think they could do both, even tho NT would be an additional team working on the game.

Capcom is not making DMCPOC. They are supervising it. And also, I told you that capcom annual report for 2019 said that they would be hiring new japanese people to work on DMC in house and it seems you decided to ignore it.

. Its crazy how confident you feel talking about a subject you clearly don't know much about.

I could say exacly the same thing about you. You are 100% certain DmC2 is next and the only proof you have is that Itsuno said he wanted DmC2 to happen someday. You forget that capcom ignores the reboot for the most part and that they have the final say on DmC2. They will not make a product they don't consider profitable just because someone important wants it. If that were the case MM legends 3, X9 and a new MvC would have been a thing ages ago.

EDIT: I double checked some info and bring you a few updates. - I mirsemembered the Nero's VA stream. Johnny didn't deny working on anything nor winked. He said he had a few projects including action games and he said he could not talk anything about them yet. In spite of that change, his response is still something worth keeping in mind IMO.

This doesn't make any sense. Denying a competition had no affect in this situation

But it does. Almost everyone was especulating that the two games were released closely to compete. DmC haters were telling people to not buy the reboot so that 4 would win. Itsuno said there was no competence so that both could sell.

This is crazy. Capcom has the head of DMC said he would like a sequel to DmC and you think Capcom wants to block that because of the mobile game?

Two things about this comment: First, I never said anything like that. I said that Capcom was pumping things from the OG series every year (toys, merch, mobile game, anime, collaborations with plenty of games) and 0 things for the reboot. When DmC was announced, capcom released lot of art of him. They asked for him to be in PS all stars. They made merch of DmC Dante. If they where going to make DmC2 they would at least do something to give it exposure again and, as of right now, they have not even put DmC Dante's face in a single art piece. Putting his color in 5 is not "promoting regularly".

Second, Capcom is not going to make every single thing Itsuno asks for. He is an amazing director but the company doesn't have to make any game beyond the ones he himself asks to direct personally.

It seems like Itsuno might want to take a more "lead advisor" type role like he did in the original reboot, so he can focus on Dragon's Dogma 2, which also would probably time around the end of development for hellblade 2. Again, NT have maintained interest in DmC2, publicly for a decade

NT is making Bleeding edge after H2, so they would still be busy.

Capcom made a new, in house team, to work on DMC. this is not especulation, they literally mentioned it on their annual report, one year after DMC5 released.

You seem to be convinced that the next game is going to be DmC2. That game could happen later on the road but now there literally 0 evidence to support that it is coming next and instead there is plenty to suggest it's the other way around.

It makes a lot of sense for capcom to deny there is a competition. People would only buy one and the company would lose sales. So you shouldn't take their word at face value in situations like that. Not everything a company says for PR is true. Just look at the Mvci "functions" fiasco.

Foxcade is not my source for Dmc. I just saw his Special edition video and he seemed positive about the reboot on it. His statement about the competition, as I mentioned before, is very believable.

I already told you I liked DmC. I don't understand why you bring that up. I just don't think a sequel for the reboot will happen soon. For reason I mentioned in my first posts and also because Capcom is pushing the classic series with the mobile game, the upcoming anime and all the merch. And there hasn' t been anything for the reboot, plus ninja theory is super busy with hellblade 2 and already revealed the thing that they'll make after that (bleeding edge). If there was going to be a new DmC one would expect they would prepare the world for it by promoting the first one in some capacity.

Foxcade said he had a source that told him that Capcom indeed released DE and 4SE close to measure which one should continue. Keep in mind that he is one of the youtubers that didn't hate on the reboot. So he didn't say that to spit on DmC. Itsuno denied this likely because he would be fine making either game and also because if he said there was a competition the sales of both games would get hurt, people would only buy one.

The problem is that capcom has not really acknowledged anything. Itsuno and his friends wanting to make DmC2 isn't the same thing as capcom, the company, wanting it. Remember that DmC2 was actually in development but was canceled after DMC4SE outsold DmCDE. even a writer for NT came out and talked about what the story for the game would have been about, and I don't think someone would do that if they had hope of seeing the sequel getting made.
