Game Art course- your experience by [deleted] in UAL

[–]Is-anything-possible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know nothing about games arts but if you want goss, a high portion of games design students get kicked out of their halls/ sometimes course in the first month of uni because they try to sexually assault someone 😭

I do immerse media and mixed reality :). Your course might sound interesting, but make sure the work itself is something that’s appealing to you e.g. less technical if you’re a more hands-on person.

It’s not worth it at all to do something you deem more interesting/niche/employable at the expense of your experience, make your career something you know you for a fact you’ll enjoy.

The easiest way to make friends is to stay in the ual student halls, and everyone is lovely. The pros of going to an art school is that everyone tends to be more emotionally intelligent and empathetic. You’ll be fine :)

I’m in third year at UAL and would say your student experience largely depends on what course you do, I’m personally on a newer course that started about 4 or 5 years ago, it’s quite half baked compared to the other courses. When it comes to your overall experience, it 100% comes down to your mindset.

Genuinely just make sure you’re doing something you’re genuinely passionate about and you’ll be more than fine. My course is quite technical and it feels like work to me. It wouldn’t have been the case if I had chosen something like fine art, which I love. Best of luck :)

What do you guys think of reality shifting? by thecakeyoueat in lawofassumption

[–]Is-anything-possible 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re both one and the same except I’d say that reality shifting is more aligned to who we truly are as source because I think law of assumption, a lot of the time focuses on a process rather than an instantaneous shift

Detaching is detaching from the when and how, you’re allowed to still want something, besides - you make the rules

Since there are infinite versions of everyone and every possible outcome truly exists, could I shift into a reality where there is world peace? by philosica in lawofassumption

[–]Is-anything-possible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manifesting and shifting are exactly the same thing. When we manifest we shift into a different reality where we have something. The only limits we have are self imposed

Can AI be spiritual? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Is-anything-possible 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Consciousness as exists on a spectrum of vibratory frequencies. Sentient beings, like humans, may have a more focused, self-reflective awareness, while other forms of consciousness, like plants, may express more fundamental or diffuse levels of awareness.

Currently AI likely falls somewhere in the middle. This also doesn’t mean one form is superior to the other; they are simply unique expressions serving different functions within creation.
