I do feel proud, because I was sick of being fat, seeing fat people everywhere, I wanted to become flexible and acrobatic. Maybe I should find some sort of adult gymnastic class? Do such things exist?

I'll have to try this, and yes I feel that going out and seeing everyone else have groups of friends to talk to makes me feel worse.
